This spice blend imparts a robust punch of nutritious elements beyond the traditional roasted chicken flavor.

Nourishing Benefits

The Klishi Whole Roasted Chicken isn't just tasty—it's a nutrition-packed dish. A whole roasted chicken, excluding sauces or stuffing, typically contains around 165-190 calories per 3.5 ounces (100 grams). This could be both light and dark meat portions. However, exact calorie counts can vary based on chicken size, cooking methods, and additional seasonings used.

From antioxidants to gut health support, this blend does more than tantalize your taste buds—it's a flavorful boost with added benefits for your body. Here's a breakdown of what it offers.

Chicken Meat

Whole chicken is an excellent source of protein. Note that the distribution of protein can vary across different parts of the chicken.

  • Breast. The breast meat is the leanest part and contains the highest concentration of protein per serving.
  • Thighs and Legs. These parts contain slightly more fat than the breast, but they're still rich in protein.
  • Wings. Wings are smaller and might have a bit less protein compared to other parts

Likouala Pepper and Selim Pepper

Both peppers are common in certain African cuisines. Peppers, in general, are known for containing antioxidants like vitamin C and flavonoids, which have potential anti-inflammatory properties.

African Nutmeg

Nutmeg is believed to have essential oils with potential health benefits. It's used traditionally for digestive issues, and some studies suggest its antimicrobial properties might contribute to gut health.

Penja White Pepper

Like other peppers, white pepper may contain bioactive compounds that act as antioxidants, potentially supporting cellular health by reducing oxidative stress.

Country Onion

Onions are recognized for their prebiotic properties, meaning they contain non-digestible fibers that promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. This can aid digestion and overall gut health.
