I've always been a fan of salads, but I felt like I needed something more exciting in my meals. So, I started playing around with vegetarian options and trying to add some new flavors. I was like, why not spruce it up with the amazing taste of Klishi Spice Blend? The mix of fresh veggies, tofu for that protein boost, and the subtle yet captivating touch of Klishi transformed my usual salad routine into a flavorful adventure.  

This salad, sparked by Klishi's flavors, has become my go-to for diving into more plant-based meals. It showcases that nutritious food can be both thrilling and packed with healthy goodness.

  • Tofu medium firm
  • Cherry tomatoes multicolor (preferably)
  • 1/4 red onion
  • Klishi poultry spice (mild or hot)
  • Artochoke (you can use canned ones if you want)
  • one hand full of spinach
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • Half of an avocado

Cooking Instructions: 

  •  Stir fry the tofu marinaded with the Klishi spice. and add all other ingredients in a bowl. Top up with fried tofu. Use the lemon as dressing or any other dressing of your choice could work.

  • Tip #1. Pick fresh, crisp vegetables. Rinse them thoroughly before slicing or chopping to retain their nutrients. 
  • Tip #2. If using firm tofu, pat it dry gently using paper towels to remove excess moisture before dicing or marinating. For added flavor, marinate tofu in a light dressing or a sprinkle of Klishi Spice for about 20-30 minutes before adding it to the salad. 
  • Tip #3. If adding avocado, slice it just before serving to prevent browning. Squeeze a bit of lemon or lime juice on the slices to maintain their vibrant color.
